Sheep Shearers Special

Experience up close the shearing of Omarama's prized Merino sheep. From the comfort of the purpose built and designed shearing demonstration facility, Omarama's experienced shearers will provide you with a demonstration of both modern mechanical, and traditional hand shearing by blade. There is also an audiovisual experience where you will learn all about the nature of high country farming in this region.  At the shop you will be able to purchase garments made from the finest of wools.  Stroll back to the hotel to complete your day with a hearty country style dinner. Enjoy a cooked breakfast the following morning to kick start your day.
